A couple of quick Google searches would if taken literally suggest that the World Economic Forum (WEF) is a sham of an organization that pretends to bring about positive change in the world, the reason being is that it is trusted by neither the political left or the right. They’ve done something impossible and that is that they’ve united all of the opposition into one camp that wants to see them disbanded and broken up.
Leftists claim that the annual meeting in Davos is nothing but a gathering of the rich and powerful who come together to make decisions behind closed doors and prioritize their own interests over the well-being of the majority, whilst conservatives are fearful about their lack of accountability to government seeing them as nothing more than a gathering of the ‘World Controllers,’ of Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World circumventing democracy for the sake of their narrow, profit-driven agenda that is seemingly evident in the solutions they propose. Climate change, for example, claim the leftists is not addressed with the urgency it deserves, but instead is reduced to a market-based solution like carbon trading that only serves to further enrich corporations.
The WEF’s secretive nature hasn’t helped their cause and only adds to its already questionable reputation. The public is kept in the dark about its decision-making processes, and there is no accountability for the actions and decisions of its members. The organisation’s relationship with corporations is particularly concerning, as it raises questions about the impartiality of its discussions and solutions.
The modern-day Neo-Marxists of the political left and the woke movement see the WEF’s narrow focus on economic growth and globalization as a continuation of the material processes that has led to the exploitation of workers in developing countries and increased inequality, all the while neglecting the important social and environmental concerns that are crucial to a thriving world. The WEF’s lack of action on these issues is they claim a testament to its failure to live up to its own rhetoric. They also take issue with the WEF’s lack of diversity and representation, stating that the Davos meeting is dominated by wealthy, white, male business leaders and politicians, the result being that important perspectives and experiences are missing and marginalized communities are neglected accusing them of ‘group think,’ oblivious to the fact that the conservative side of the political spectrum makes the same claim about them!
In short, leftists regard the World Economic Forum as nothing but a corrupt organization that is more interested in advancing the interests of the rich and powerful than in creating real, meaningful change in the world. Surprisingly the conservative, traditionalist right, the natural enemies of these same leftists are forced to agree because there’s no obvious way for the public to hold the WEF accountable for its actions and to demand solutions that put the well-being of a democratic majority first. It doesn’t help that Klaus Schwab (a German economist and the founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum) has bragged about having penetrated the cabinets of western, liberal democracies, in a now infamous video clip that can be found all over the internet and even in curated places such as YouTube stating that:
“And I have to say, when I mention our names like Angela Merkel, even Vladimir Putin and so on, they all have been Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum. But what we are very proud of now is the young generation like Prime Minister Trudeau, President of Argentina and so on, is that we penetrate the cabinets. So yesterday I was at a reception for Prime Minister Trudeau and I know that half of this cabinet or even more than half of this cabinet are actually Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum.” – Klaus Schwab, Executive chairman of the WEF
He then goes on to say that this is also true in Argentina and France and so on and is presently bewildered as to why the WEF doesn’t have the trust of anybody other than the super-rich, so much so, that they’ve recently being caught out rolling back on their 2030 narrative of ‘you’ll own nothing and be happy,’ siting it as misinformation, disinformation and anti-WEF propaganda despite the fact the offending article appeared on their own website first and foremost, and left them open to all sorts of accusations such as being closet communists, socialists, plutocrats, kleptocrats, Nazis and so on.
You’ve got to hand it to the WEF, they’ve united everyone from all walks of life and political vantages points into a common resistance to their plans. No wonder they are scared to death of insurrection, they see it everywhere they look because they, themselves are the cause of it!
